Photo Exhibit to mark the Dalai Lama's 70th birthday

The Times of Tibet is today announcing a photographic exhibit to be held at Hooper's Gallery in London from July 2 to 14, 2005. The exhibit will be part of the worldwide celebrations marking the 70th birthday of the Dalai Lama [previous post]. The exhibit will include rare photos of His Holiness during his 1959 escape from Tibet as well as early childhood photos. A media preview will take place on July 1, and will feature a performance of traditional Tibetan dance and music. The exhibit is free, and is open to the public starting on July 2. Hooper's Gallery is located in London at 15 Clerkenwell Close, EC1R 0AA.
